Visit with the cousins!

Last night, Grandma and grandpa came through town with Michael and Preston on their way to St. Louis. We had a great time going for Mexican and the boys had the best time playing together.

After bathtime, Michael wanted Auntie Kat to give him a new 'do. Next time he visits, we are going to call his mom to get permission for a mohawk! : )

The boys kept looking for deer. We saw five in the neighborhood that night and they were determined to see more in the backyard. Lacy was very interested in what they were doing all evening.

The crew is headed to St. Louis today to catch a flight back home to Florida. We had a great time with them!

Our Lucky Week

So here are a few photos from the wedding weekend. I am trying to get a few more of the reception and other stuff. Aidan was not too interested in the weekend's festivities. He preferred to run around like a crazy man in the ballroom lobby area. He thought it was so neat that he could climb up on the glass railing and see down at all the people.


It was a long night after the reception. Thanks to Lizzy for being a lovely hostess...
And now for the reason for the title to this week's posting. You will all be very jealous to learn that Chad won this lovely full-size Fridgidaire refrigerator from Anheuser-Busch this week. Yes, that is a Natural Light fridge, and yes, it is in our garage currently. Next to it is Chad's other prized possession, his new lawn mower. Though I still believe that our yard BARELY qualifies for a rider. I will admit it is so much nicer to mow the lawn in less than 2 hours!
Aidan cannot get enough of riding on the mower. Whenever we get home or are leaving he says, "mow?"

As you can see, he also loves his mower. We can't get him inside once he starts his mowing!

Busy busy

So I have not posted anything shortly as I so emptily promised. Working on posting some new pictures...
What have we been up to these past couple of weeks? Well, let's see. Last weekend everyone took a little trip over to St. Louis for Chad's brother, Mark's wedding. Lee, Brandi and the boys came in with Chad's parents on Wednesday. All the little boys got to play with each other while the big boys played golf on Thursday. They headed to St. Louis Friday, leaving Aidan and I behind to follow after I got off of work. Friday afternoon, mom and dad, Lizzy, Aidan and I all piled in and headed to St. Louis. There, we met up with the family and had the rehearsal/dinner that night. The next day was the wedding. It was lovely. I am trying to add some pictures of our visit-will hopefully get those soon. We all went home Sunday. Chad's parents and Michael and Preston came back to our house so the boys could play again until Wednesday. Now we are back to normal and back to a quiet, boring house ; )
