Aidan 2 year appointment

Quick update: Aidan just had his 2 year appointment. He is doing great! He is 34 lbs and 34 inches. He falls in the 75% for height and 90% for weight. So our guy is finally slowing down a bit! He has always been in at least the 95%!! He is very talkative now. He says things like: grandma, grandpa, mom, dad, Lacy, Rico (co-co), Where'd dad go? Where'd Lacy go? cleaning, pooping ; ) Bye, whacha doin?, lots of other things. He also has a "funny face" he will gladly show you if you ask. Hope to put pics up soon!

Aidan's Vacation in FL

Aidan and Chad went to Florida a couple of weekends ago to visit Lee and the boys. Grandpa and Grandma Van Roekel were down there as well. They took the boys to the beach, went swimming, and did lots of playing. Aidan liked the beach, but HATED the sand. He spent his time sitting on a towel.

My aunt Kathy lives near Lee's house and the boys were able to see her for a little celebration of Aidan's 2nd birthday.

Aidan turned 2 on August 27th. We had a little gathering of family at the house. He got a Power Wheel Dump Truck. He loves it. He hasnt quite figured out how to make it go consistently though. You have to push the pedal for him and chase along with the truck. TIRING! He also got a play kitchen. he loves to "cook." We have lots of pictures, but we got a new camera so first I have to figure out how to get those off the camera onto my computer, then I will post them!
