This is where you used to drive up on the haunted garage and weeds...right off the main road...
I am about 87% certain that this is the view standing at the pond, but I am not totally sure.
It's all full of nature people. It could be anywhere out there!
This is what appears to me, to be where they are perhaps putting the house? I have no idea what the little four square of white posts are so maybe this is not even CLOSE to where the house is going. I am more on the creative end of things here.
Oooh heavy equipment and rocks! Go construction!!
Doing something! Heck, I don't know what or why but I just like to see them doing something construction-related out there!!

The kiddo is all grown up. He is officially going on a vacation without me. He (and his cousins, Michael and Preston) are going with Grandpa and Grandma V on a vacay to Colorado skiing. I am so jealous. I have never been skiing. Ever. I am guessing there is a reason for this. I don't think anyone wants to take a newbie :) Aidan is over the moon about this. He will be gone a week. Don't ask me about it. Or at least give me a tissue if you do. It is so adorable to hear him talk about the trip. He calls it "Callarado" like Colorado with a super strong Chicago accent. He has been looking at the postcard Aunt Deb and Uncle Mike sent him for days; telling me all about the mountain and how he is going to be 9000 feet in the sky. He also proceeded to tell us all how we couldn't come because it's a party time vacation with Grandma and Grandpa. They are going to have so much fun.
Since he is going skiing, he needed some gear. We already have snow bibs or whatever the heck you call them. Chad happened to be at Dick's today and found these:
