Enjoying the Weather

In case you haven't noticed, the weather has been insanely amazing here in the ol' Midwest. It has been at least 70 outside for the past few days and should be like that for the next 10. Woo hoo!!! The kids have been taking full advantage. It was 80 out the other night and we spent it outdoors. And apparently Elin felt like the temps warranted no pants. Oh well. Our neighbors are cows. I don't think they were offended. She also felt it very important to wear her sparkly leopard shoes. Awesome in the mud. Not. But she refused to wear anything else. Have to appreciate her dedication to fashion :)

They rode bikes, watered the grass, pulled weeds, made general muddy messes. You know, the good stuff.

Then Elin was pooped. She gave up. I didn't see her for a few minutes and then I walked around to the garage and found this:

They were seriously getting along so well outside. They definitely have their moments of shrieking and bickering, but they do love playing together:

We were clearly being very helpful to Chad who was working diligently on removing weeds from the flower bed...

I can't believe how much I am enjoying living out in the country. I couldn't imagine living in our old neighborhood again?! Crazy stuff I tell you!
