Last week we actually got a taste of spring. It was 74 degrees on Thursday and the kids took total advantage. AND I even got some pictures. Win win! Elin went straight for the sand box/sand tire ;)
Cookie was in heaven being able to be outside without snow. She is not a fan. Such a princess, that one.
The boys were boys. The most fascinating play equipment at our house?? The giant dirt pile. Fantastic.
They were on the dirt, in the dirt, in the trees, in the weeds, and anywhere else they could go. It was great.
We even got to do a little four wheeler riding...
Then the week was over. The weather got crappy. Sad faces all around. Sunday was St. Patrick's Day!! Chad was super dad and surprised everyone with green pancakes, green eggs and green milk. Aidan was completed weirded out by it and wouldn't touch it. Elin was obsessed with the green. She even requested purple milk for later. It was delicous :)
The rest of the day was spent grocery shopping :( and cleaning out closets. Spring cleaning, indeed!! Sadly I believe the rest of the week is going to be just a lovely out...meaning not at all. Sheesh...

That dirt pile would be a hit at our house for sure! And my kids are the same with the green food - nobody will eat it! They are all about it, but only for looking; never for eating.
